Whether you want to enjoy our stretch of the Murray River by camping, fishing, water sports or just enjoying the nature walks along the banks, it’s hard to disagree that we really do have the most user-friendly stretch of the Murray River.
There are so many free, easy-to-get-to camping spots right along both sides of the river. If you’re wanting to camp somewhere with a drop toilet, head out to Invincible Bend. With its sand banks along the rivers edge, it’s a family favourite in the area.
If you love fishing, you can try your hand at catching an infamous Murray Cod (season opens December 1st until August 31st each year). These delicious eating, large fish can be caught from endless spots along the river.
Locals and visitors alike love to utilise the river for an array of water sports. One of the most popular events in town is the Robinvale Euston 80 Ski Race help in March each year.
